pycrc is a free, easy to use Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) calculator and C source code generator.
pycrc requires Python 2.6 or later. Python 3.x is supported. The last version compatible with Python 2.4 is pycrc v0.7.10.
This program doesn't need to be installed to be called. The script can be executed from the source directory. Simply call the python interpreter with the script as parameter:
python pycrc.py [options]
On a UNIX-like system, you can make the pycrc.py wrapper script executable and call it like a normal binary:
chmod +x pycrc.py ./pycrc.py [options]
Install pycrc (if required) using the setup.py script:
python setup.py install
